Digg

I enjoyed playing around with Digg. There are lots of fun articles, images, and videos. I did not sign up although when I tried to "Digg" something, I was offered the chance to sign up. One option for signing up was using Facebook. I guess anytime you Digg something it shows up on your FB wall. Interesting.

I looked at the various categories available for separating the Digg items. Lots of variety...sports, news, offbeat. I looked at the top Diggs for the past 7 days, 30 days, and 365 days. I have to say that I'm not surprised to see that Obama and Michael Jackson were the top Diggs.

I think this is a fun site. It could be useful in keeping up to day with the news of the day. It's a great diversion nonetheless.
